I wasn’t sure where to put this design review, so it has been sitting here a long time since I wrote it. Hopefully this is still useful. It’s possible the company has already fixed these issues in the intervening years, but I fixed my razor instead of buying a new one, so I wouldn’t know. After my razor broke, I replaced the screw tightening mechanism with an over-center latch and I’ve been pretty happy with it.
This On Stage double-decker Z-shaped piano stand is nice, but lacking in adjustments. Guitar Center sells them for about $150, and I got mine in open-box condition while there was a sale for a bit less. Especially for the price, it feels robust and just like a good all-around surface…

I was getting tired of soldering new a new cable on my headphones every few months, so I replaced the cable with a female 3.5mm headphone jack on the headphones. This is a cheap and easy improvement to any pair of wired headphones.

When I went to load a game for the first time in this PS4, the slot drive blocked my disc. This drive has a little wall that it lifts up so that you don’t accidentally stick a disc in while the disc in the drive is spinning, but this drive had a bit of an underbite. That wall was jammed above its intended position and was locking the rest of the mechanism.
