My name is Eric Jones and I make things. I am an application support analyst for the Public Works and Natural Resources department of the City of Longmont. I am proud to be a CSU Ram.
I pursued a degree in mechanical engineering and a career in automation and data management because the application of scientific knowledge to real-world problems captivates me.
Sometimes I work on complex projects that require both halves of my brain to identify, model, and solve problems with hardware and software engineering. Other times I duct tape vacuum cleaners together and scoff at planned obsolescence. This is a collection of projects that fall somewhere in that range.
